A & J PAINTING AND HANDYMAN SERVICE (UEN 53102106L), trading as A&J Painting (“A&J”, “we”, “us” or “our”), provides painting and related handyman services in Singapore. Our business address is 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal data when you visit this website, contact us, request a quotation or engage our services. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”).

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, property address or postal code, property type, areas to be painted, project details, photographs or videos you provide, quotation and invoice information, payment-status information, correspondence and any other information you voluntarily give us.

When you visit the website, we may also receive limited technical and online-activity information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring source, cookie identifiers and events such as a WhatsApp or quotation-button click. 3. Why we use personal data

We may collect, use and disclose personal data to respond to your enquiry; prepare, discuss and administer a quotation; arrange a site visit; perform and support agreed work; communicate about scheduling, access, invoices, aftercare or a warranty claim; protect our business and prevent misuse; comply with legal obligations; and operate, secure, analyse and improve our website and marketing.

We will seek consent where required. Where you voluntarily send us an enquiry or request a quotation, you are taken to have agreed to our use of the information for the reasonable purposes of responding to and progressing that request. We do not require consent to uses beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

4. Marketing

We may contact you about your existing enquiry, quotation, booking or service. We will obtain consent where required before sending promotional messages to a Singapore telephone number, and will provide a practical way to withdraw consent. We will observe applicable Do Not Call requirements unless an exception or valid consent applies.

5. Who may receive your data

We may disclose data only where reasonably necessary to our staff, painters and service providers; professional advisers; payment, communications, hosting, form, security and technology providers; Google (where the relevant Google products are enabled); insurers; regulators; or a person otherwise authorised by you or required by law. Service providers may process data only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Google and overseas transfers

This website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure website use, advertising performance and relevant conversion events, such as a WhatsApp or quotation-button click. Google Search Console helps us monitor search visibility and website indexing. Google and other technology providers may process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

7. Cookies and browser controls

We use cookies and similar technologies for website operation, analytics and advertising measurement. This website does not use a cookie-consent banner. 8. Retention and security

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, to manage a service relationship, resolve a dispute, meet legal or accounting requirements, or as otherwise permitted by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

9. Access, correction and withdrawal

You may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you, ask how it has been used or disclosed in the preceding 12 months where applicable, or withdraw consent for a stated purpose. Withdrawal of consent may mean that we cannot continue to provide a requested service or follow up on an enquiry.

10. Data incidents

If a data incident occurs, we will assess it promptly and make notifications to affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission where required under the PDPA.
